Kilimanjaro Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Marangu Gate Mandara Hut

Hike through rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,700m).

Day 2

Mandara Hut Horombo Hut

Hike through moorland zone to Horombo Hut (3,720m).

Day 3

Acclimatization Day – Horombo Hut

Hike to Zebra Rocks then rest at Horombo Hut.

Day 4

Horombo Hut Kibo Hut

Cross alpine desert to Kibo Hut (4,703m).

Day 5

Summit Day – Kibo Hut Uhuru Peak Horombo

Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), descend to Horombo.

Day 6

Horombo Hut Marangu Gate

Descend to the gate and transfer back to Moshi/Arusha.
